About Us

Pave The Way is a licensed, family-run day care center in Minoa, NY and has been open since 2012. Our mission continues to provide affordable, quality care for children and families in our community. At the end of the day, we are a day care but have created a schoolhouse environment by implementing a systematic curriculum and will continue to do so for many years to come!

Let's meet the teachers: Joanne Wood is a devoted mother of 4 (in addition to being a grandmother of 6 now!) and is known for her energetic leadership skills. Her daughters are Jamie Landry and Alison Wood. Jamie is a certified teacher, with her Master's Degree in Special Education and Alison graduated from the University of Buffalo with a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology. Alison started our adventure with us and even though she has since moved on, she is always there to help us with business tips and visits the kids when she is in town! Our other family members are very supportive in helping our business in any way needed, which we greatly appreciate as there are always new things to learn.

We are also VERY fortunate to have supportive staff who are kind and

responsible with our kiddos.  Even though we all have different experiences, we all share the natural ability to work with children and would love to help...

"Pave The Way" for learning and success with your child!

Pave The Way provides the kind of care that is challenging for larger centers:

- Because we are family-run,

we have the opportunity to provide a unique and nurturing environment

- Available part-time rates and flexibility

-Consistency within our two classrooms:

Our Toddler Class

for children at least 18 months to 2 years old

Our Preschool Class

for 3- and 4-year old's

And we also provide the same type of service and activities as larger centers:

- A diverse and engaging curriculum in both classrooms to help develop important language, social, cognitive and motor skills

- We provide nutritional snacks and drinks in the morning and afternoon (kids bring their own lunch)

- Private playground and parking

- Hours from 7:30 AM- 5 Pm

(4:30 PM dismissal by summer 2024)
